Mr. Isharaka Perera earned his Higher National Diploma in Nautical Science from South Tyneside College /South Shields Marine School in the United Kingdom. (2007) He had followed a full-time Electronic Course at Institute of TV Technology (ITVT) Colombo Sri Lanka. 1990-1992.
Also he had followed Basic Gemmonology and Gem Identification course at Lanka Gemological Institute (LGI) Kohuwala, Nugegoda Sri Lanka 2013/2014. And he had followed a course of Environment Impact Assessment and Social Impact Assessment at the campus of Center for Science and Environment Rajasthan/ New Delhi, India. 2018

He was able to encounter people from different cultural and racial backgrounds during his working span in the maritime industry and was able to learn to handle the challenging situations. It provided him with the finest opportunity to learn about culture and different sorts of enterprises.
His great grandfather, Mr. B. Brumpy Perera, who had started the Construction & Services business in the early 1950s as Brumpy Perera & Sons, while his grandfather, Mr. B. Martin Perera, continued the business as Martin Perera & Sons, and his father, B. Benard Perera, continued the same from in 1980’s with modern machinery as Bernard Perera Constructions (Pvt) Ltd. Mr. Isharaka Perera joined the family business in 2007. Mr. Isharaka Perera advanced his family firm in a more innovative manner as Bernard Perera Holdings (Pvt) Ltd, and his business vision switched to various enterprises with various corporations. He has successfully completed major projects in a short period of time.

Mr. Isharaka Perera was awarded Nationally as Best Innovator of the year 2018/2019 for the mineral products event organized by the Sri Lankan Government body of Georgical Survey and Mines Bureau of Sri Lanka. (GSMB)
Mr. Isharaka Perera was awared as Best Presenter at the Quartz workshop 2019 organized by the Sri Lankan Government body of Georgical Survey and Mines Bureau of Sri Lanka. (GSMB)
Mr. Isharaka Perera had taken part of the claim related assistance to the Government of Sri Lanka for the incident of fire on board oil tanker “New Diamond “

Mr. Isharaka Perera was named as Best Guest Speaker at the International Mineral Symposium 2018 organized by Ministry of Environment of Sri Lanka and GSMB Sri Lanka.
